How did your ideas and their execution amount to specific representations of school life, music and the readers of music magazines?

The school magazine represented school life due to the student on the front being in school uniform and there being a school section in the magazine, also featuring various genres of music (featuring Rap/Rock/R&B, etc…) and different types of features (sport to fashion), which represents school life as there are many different people in schools, who will each have different interests.


The music magazines relates to music because it has features on music artists (interviews with, photoshoots of, etc…) and general music features, including “the hottest albums of 2008” with album covers, a music group on the cover (although fictional), a free music CD plus all the conventions found on a music magazine.

 

The music magazine represented readers of music magazines because it features all the conventions that they would expect to find in a music magazine, being familiar and useful so that they can find whatever they are looking for.
